Im so happy you chose the AYC for your practicum. It has been a pleasure getting to know you and seeing the great work you do with youth.

As a practicum student, you’re doing a great job. Our main job at AYC is creating a space where youth can come to hang out and be in a safe spot. And how you communicate and interact with youth is doing that perfectly. You're able to create connections with all youth that come to the centre and be someone that they feel safe talking and playing games with. You're able to make jokes and be serious when you need to be, so the youth will listen to you when you say something. Which is something not everyone can do.

Josilyn, right away you fit in with the staff and the youth really embraced you. You always came to work excited and made an effort to connect with the youth. You took initiative during your time here and went above what was expected of a practicum student. It has been a pleasure having you work here at the AYC these past few months!
